Approved Minutes of Selectmen’s Meeting – May 1, 2007 – Town of Sweden

Present:  Ted Harris, Jim Willey, Bill Jones, John Clifford, Jeff Stowell

Roads – Tapawingo Road – see about being paved in June

FEMA – waiting for appointment, Jim will take pictures of Marr Road, Trull Brook Road, Trull Brook Bridge and ask Wayne about list submitted.

Polling Place Accessibility – no reply from Rob Drew yet.

Roof Town Meeting House – Roof to be patched this week by Dave Emery Construction

Trull Brook Bridge – Bids due May 8, 2007.  One bid in as of this date.

MEMIC Insurance – Haven’t heard back.

May 15^th School Budget Meeting – New Suncook School, 6:30 p.m., Selectmen will attend to discuss school budget.

Fire Station – Ted went to Denmark Fire Department.  Suggests other town people go look at it.

Census – workshop 5/15 for census in 2010.

Clerk’s hours – Jane submitted estimate of hours to be worked in May.  The clerk cannot work more than 19 hours per week without violating minimum wage hours.  “Have Jane cut hours during those weeks and work no more than 19 hours per week.”  Voted 3-0

Others business:  Metal pick-up in June will be l week.  Bill will call Steve Adams to set-up what week.

S.V.F.D. – Fire department asked about putting in a soda machine for fund raising inside the Town Meeting House.
