| May 18 This is one of the first wildflowers we saw after buying this property in 1994. I had never seen one before and thought we must have a real rarity. Of course, we now know that this is a ubiquitous plant in our woods. No less pretty, though. How to pronounce: "Polygala" is pronounced syllabically like "Caligula." |  |
