Anyway, I found this latest snake very pretty and he seemed to be patient with me and my camera.

| Each
year we have a family of garter snakes living just outside the back
door. As someone who has always reacted like a weenie around snakes,
I'm amazed that I find myself almost glad to see them...even though a
few years ago I went out to find one with a toad half in-half out, if
you know what I mean. Somewhere I have a photo of that episode. Anyway, I found this latest snake very pretty and he seemed to be patient with me and my camera. |
